Vaccine Attitudes: A Series of Focus Groups

Are you a parent or guardian of a child aged 0-5 years?
You may be interested in taking part in a study about vaccine attitudes.
This study is run by Oxford Vaccine Group, part of the University of Oxford.

What is the study about?

We will be holding focus groups (discussions) with small groups of parents of children aged 0-5 years.

During these discussions parents will be able to talk about their attitudes to vaccination from any point of view. This will help us understand better how parents or guardians make decisions about vaccination, as well as the kinds of decisions that they make. We hope that this information will help us improve the way parents or guardians are informed and engaged on the topic of vaccination.

What happens if you want to take part in this study?

  • You would attend a focus group lasting 1-2 hours.
  • There would be about 12 people in each group.
  • The discussion would be audio recorded.
  • If you complete the focus group, you would receive a giftcard for a local grocery store.

Taking part in this study is voluntary.
